Hello, my name is Kristin and I have been designing and delivering ceremonies for over 8 years. Referrals and word of mouth are the lifeline of my reputation as I provide genuine, centered, and enriching services for special days. Whether you are looking for traditional or unique I lean into capturing what makes your relationship yours; the guests sense this the moment we start since it is all you at a depth they understand and love. I weave the story of your essence, development, and life events into this fabulous moment. It will be one of the best memories of your life and my intention is to bring everyone in the room right along with you as I make your dream ceremony your reality.

Kristin is a great lady and I felt very comfortable the first day we talked. Professional, highly recommend.
Kristin did a wonderful job officiating our wedding. She was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. We were able to meet over FaceTime and in person multiple times before the ceremony to discuss all the details. She was very thorough in her questions and was able to incorporate all of our requests into the ceremony. Multiple guests remarked at how meaningful and personal the ceremony was, which shows how well Kristin wrote our ceremony and included personal touches. We are very happy that we chose Kristin as our officiant!
AMAZING! It's like she personally knew us for years with the vows she wrote. It was a very intimate ceremony and she executed everything perfectly. Highly recommend!
Kristin was such a pleasure to have officiate our wedding! She was incredibly kind, personable and caring. She truly goes above and beyond to help create the perfect ceremony. She gave us great comfort in trusting her with getting to know us on a personal level which made our ceremony very memorable. You will be highly satisfied with her as your officiant!
I would totally recommend Kristy to one of my couples! The first thing I noticed about her is she's very stylish! But more importantly, she's well-spoken, charming, and takes her job seriously. Can't go wrong!
Kristin, the Duchess of Ceremony, and I have worked together for a wedding and reception as well as an elopement day at my event center. She was extremely sweet, very easy to work with and personalized ceremonies for our couples. I really loved how she made each ceremony unique. Top notch officiant - would highly recommend!!
Kristin was absolutely wonderful to work with during our ceremony planning process. She completely understood what we wanted and asked all of the right questions. She took a tremendous amount of stress away the moment we started talking. She's very kind and was so great at communicating through every step of the way. We would recommend Kristin for any non-denominational wedding; we feel very lucky to have had her as our officiant!
Kristin was absolutely amazing as our officiant for our wedding! She took into account all of our preferences and wrote an absolutely beautiful ceremony for us! She was a pleasure to work with and I was so happy to have her help.
Kristin did such a wonderful job on our wedding ceremony! I found her and she was very accommodating. She made our ceremony personal and special, she cared enough to do that for us, and that amazed me the most about her. She was a God send and she added the 'energy' I wanted to have at our ceremony. I 1000% recommend her, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again, Kristin!
We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding officiant! She did an amazing job throughout our ceremony. Since many of our guests spoke Spanish, we had to translate the entire ceremony, and she was incredibly patient, understanding, and accommodating every step of the way.
Her professionalism, kindness, and positive attitude helped make our special day run smoothly. She made us feel comfortable and truly cared about making our ceremony meaningful for everyone attending.
We are so grateful for her flexibility and dedication. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, personable, and genuinely invested in making your wedding special, we highly recommend her!
Thank you for helping make our wedding day unforgettable!
Kristin was the absolute perfect choice for our elopement. We wanted something intimate, meaningful, and stress-free, and she delivered on all fronts. From our first conversation, Kristin's warmth and understanding put us completely at ease. She took the time to understand our vision for our elopement, and offered thoughtful suggestions that truly personalized the experience.
Even though it was just us and the kids, Kristin made our ceremony feel incredibly special. She crafted a beautiful and heartfelt script that captured the essence of our relationship, and her delivery was genuine and moving. It wasn't just a quick legal formality; it was a deeply personal and romantic moment.
Kristin's organizational skills were also invaluable. She handled all the necessary paperwork and details, allowing us to focus on each other and the joy of the moment. She was incredibly responsive to our questions and provided clear guidance throughout the process.
If you're looking for an officiant who will make your elopement feel truly special, Kristin is the perfect choice. She is kind, professional, and genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience. We are so grateful for her role in our elopement, and we highly recommend her services.
My Husband and I hired Kristin as our officiant in 2020 for our wedding in 2021. When we had our first phone call we chatted for 45 minutes to an hour, it was almost like we were long lost friends. Very personable!! Due to some family circumstances we had to postpone our wedding until 2022, Kristin did not hesitate when I told her I had to move our date. In those two years we quickly became friends, it wasn’t just about the wedding. Her knowing our circumstances she checked in to see how we were doing pretty often, knowing she had a busy life of her own I felt so blessed. She drove an hour and a half to and from our rehearsal then back for our wedding day and I am so thankful for that! She kept our ceremony light casual and to the point like we asked her to. I truly don’t think I could have had anyone else officiate our wedding. If you are looking for an officiant you don’t need to go any further! I HIGHLY recommend Kristin!
Nondenominational does not have to mean without any religion. When it comes to topics like: the freedom to decide what is and is not going to be in your service, where it will be, and who can attend; when compared to strict, religious traditions, nondenominational offers increased flexibility and creative freedom. It is your wedding day so I strongly believe that you should decide how it will go.
Almost a decade ago, when I became an officiant, I committed myself to helping couples become legally married no matter what their background is and over the years I have stood true to that commitment when couples approach me for a service. For example, a couple with different religious or cultural backgrounds still have an officiant in me. Same as those who have had a past divorce(s), those who are LGBTQ+, or had an incarceration.
I have experience leading various religious and cultural traditions while incorporating them into ceremonies as well. All of this and it can still stay nondenominational! I embrace diversity and originality as I customize your wedding day as you see fit; religious, nonreligious, and inter-faith welcome.

Your wedding day is one of the most customizable events of your entire life and I am here to personalize it and facilitate your wishes. When I consult with couples we have a good time getting to know each other as we share impactful details about past, present, and future aspirations. This is where the ceremonial magic first ignites, brainstorming and planning narrow down what will be exactly right for your wedding.

Kristin was absolutely amazing to work with. She was very accommodating and helped make our ceremony perfect. Taking ideas from both my wife and myself, combining them into something that fit for the both of us and came out absolutely wonderful. I am absolutely pleased with with the outcome and I wouldn't recommend anyone else. It was a pleasure working with her.

Kristin did absolutely amazing through the whole process. We wanted something simple yet meaningful. We shared very little details about ourselves and she was able to come up with the most beautiful ceremony! I highly recommend Kristin!

It is one of the biggest compliments when guests at a previous ceremony select you to officiate their own wedding later on.

David (Groom)
We used Kristin "The Duchess of Ceremony" for our wedding (elopement) in October 2022 and she was wonderful. We were able to customize our ceremony to fit our style and comfort. We received so many compliments about Kristin and our guests were shocked when they found out there was no personal connection and she was just an officiant that was hired for the elopement day! We can't recommend her enough?
Secular rituals are nonreligious in nature and are open for anyone to take part in. Some are rooted deeply by cultures and others are more modern and lighthearted. They offer beautiful opportunities to symbolize the uniting of two people and their families, if that is how the couple chooses to frame it.
Non-secular rituals have religious background and traditions while offering a strong meaning when the timing and circumstances are right.
I am comfortable incorporating both, even in the same ceremony, to deliver precisely what you need to make your wedding day genuine and unforgettable.
Customizations can literally be anything.
Below you will see examples of a few secular rituals and customizations that I have officiated. Please feel free to request what is right for you two even if you do not see it listed here.
Let's make your ceremony memorable!
Abei (Bride)
Amazing officiant! She was very respectful with everything we wanted and was a huge help. When you've never been married and you need help with the little things, like paperwork, she can help you every step of the way! She was familiar with hand-fasting which we wanted in our ceremony. It was a small wedding and she was perfect for the job. I highly recommend her.

A necessary customization. No need for loved ones to feel left out if they cannot physically attend or if there is a language barrier.
A translator is always welcome but must be provided by the couple.

A secular ritual that symbolizes the joining of two lives as one by placing the decorative lasso over the couple's shoulders. This also leaves you a momento from your day.

A fun customization that brings a unique experience with each adorable addition. I encourage my couples to share their ceremonial wishes so we can make them come true because all forms of family are always welcome.

This quick and novel customization when you and your witnesses are on the go. Legal marriages require a county issued license to be onsite at the time of the nuptials but non-legally binding commitment ceremonies do not.

A secular ritual that gives to others as you start off your married life together. For this particular ceremony we also used water from natural hot springs for the planting.

This heartfelt customization is for those who can only join in spirit; remembered and not forgotten.

A highly customizable option to have your nuptials in a location that is special to you. Such as, on your boat!

A secular ritual to be grounded, mindful, and health focused during one of the most sacred events of your life. The couple, officiant, and guests can all take part.

This broad customization option has endless possibilities that create an atmosphere like nothing else. I have had fun officiating ceremonies that are celebrated on holidays, had movies quoted, or used theme songs for the recession. Props can even be pulled out. All of this reinforces my belief, that this is your day and we will go about it any way you want!

A loving secular ritual where the rings can either be stationed before the service begins or circulated by the guests during the ceremony. The purpose of this is to give everyone, or selected individuals, an opportunity to 'warm' the rings with well wishes, positive thoughts, and good intentions.

An age old secular ritual that unites two families as one. It has ethnic roots, just like the lasso ceremony, but can be incorporated by anyone. This popular ritual leaves you with a beautiful piece of to cherish and, just like the lasso ceremony, the couple have the freedom to include special loved ones to help, if they would like to.

This can be a long lasting secular ritual since the candle only burns after the couple is wed. One flame symbolizes their unity and can be relit annually on anniversaries. Once, a couple I officiated for, used the unity candle from the bride's parents' wedding day, a tradition passed on through the generations.
Not sure if you should have the officiant to the rehearsal? Some decide to have the trusted leadership and some opt out. The wedding day goes on either way. If you are looking to have particular organization and peace of mind, it may be a good idea to invite the officiant.
You know yourself and the wedding party best, I will be there for you if you feel support with guidance, sharing and collaboration will be helpful. With all of that, your wedding day will be a success!
Sometimes, yes, a wedding officiant at the rehearsal is truly needed. Think of the group that will be all geared up to party; first, there is a serious, legal responsibility that must be properly completed. This would be one of those perfect times to bring on the officiant!
Why put an extra burden on yourself when you can let the professional take wedding preparation weight off your shoulders. This helps to assure that your ceremony will run smoothly, therefore you can have more fun at your once in a lifetime event.
